Hi, I’m Rishieka, the co-founder of Noorish, a fine silver jewellery brand that carries a legacy of over two decades.
Noorish isn’t just a brand—it’s a story. The name itself is an amalgamation of two generations: Noopur, my mother, who has been crafting and curating exquisite gold, diamond, and polki jewellery for over 23 years, and me, Rishieka, determined to bring her legacy to the modern world.
A Childhood Spark
As a child, growing up around my mother’s dazzling jewellery collections was nothing short of magical. At just five years old, I was mesmerized by the shine and detail of each piece. I vividly remember imagining the kind of jewellery I would wear as a bride someday.
Over the years, my love for jewellery evolved. From wearing unique pieces for school, college, and interviews to social events and weddings, jewellery became my way of expressing confidence, individuality, and style. During my time at design school, I was honoured to receive the prestigious Association of Design India (ADI) Award, which validated my creative journey.
When I decided to create Noorish, it was more than a business venture—it was my way of making our family legacy more accessible to the new generation.
